REFORMA 2026: Design as Dialogue

REFORMA 2026 is a student showcase exhibition organized by the Visual Communication Design Program of UPH, serving as a platform for appreciation and public exposure of students’ works from early stages of learning to their Final Projects. Embracing the theme Design as Dialogue, REFORMA becomes a space where ideas, processes, and creative explorations converge, reflecting both academic growth and the evolving visual identity of emerging designers.

The exhibition will take place on 07–08 March 2026, from 8AM to 9PM, at Indonesia Design District Townhall, PIK 2.

Beyond the exhibition, REFORMA 2026 is enlivened by a series of supporting programs designed to enrich the overall experience. Through talk shows and seminars, industry professionals share insights, creative journeys, and perspectives on today’s dynamic creative landscape.

The Graphic Design Talkshow features Claudia Noverica and Sulaiman Said, who will discuss Grafis Nusantara Archive’s, exploring the importance of visual archives in preserving and developing Indonesia’s graphic identity.

The Film Talkshow, presented by Abraham Brian and Raymond Ahari, brings the theme Beyond the Screen with Jendela.co, examining the evolving film industry and the expansion of storytelling beyond traditional screens in the digital era.

The Digital Art Talkshow by Denny Ertanto, titled The Next Frontier: Visual Effects in a Changing Creative Landscape, highlights the evolution of visual effects within a rapidly shifting creative industry. Denny Ertanto is known for his contributions to major international visual effects projects such as Fantastic Beasts, Shang-Chi, Avengers: Endgame, and Avatar.

The seminar DESIGNING! will be delivered by Melvin Christian, Co-Founder & Creative Director of Ou Creative & Genexyz, offering strategic insights into creative processes and the development of impactful design practices.

In addition, visitors can participate in hands-on workshops in collaboration with Fujifilm and Wacom, as well as join the Photography Competition and Illustration Competition. The exhibition atmosphere is further enhanced by F&B Booths, an Art Market, Stampventure, a Photobooth, and Souvenir stands creating an engaging and immersive creative environment.

REFORMA 2026 is more than an exhibition; it is an open dialogue between works, creators, and audiences. A celebration of process, exploration, and the future of design.
