Indonesia Design District Hosts Forum Arsitektur Archinesia #66

As a space where design, material innovation, and creative exchange intersect, Indonesia Design District (IDD) becomes the setting for Forum Arsitektur Archinesia #66. With the theme “Sustainability in Local Context,” the forum opens a conversation on how architectural practices can respond to global sustainability challenges while remaining deeply connected to local realities.

Carrying the theme “Sustainability in Local Context,” this forum invites architects and the creative community to reflect on how sustainable principles can be meaningfully applied within Indonesia’s diverse cultural and environmental landscape. The forum will take place on 22 January 2026, from 15.00 to 18.00, at the Propan Sandimas Experience Center, located in Indonesia Design District (IDD), PIK 2.

As a creative hub that connects industry players, design professionals, and material innovation, IDD provides an ideal setting for open dialogue and knowledge exchange around the future of architecture and sustainable design practices. Moderated by Adi Janitra, the discussion will feature respected voices from the architectural field. The speakers include Wiyoga Nurdiansyah, along with Maria Rosantina and Gregorius Supie Yolodi from Yolodi + Maria Architects. Together, they will share insights, experiences, and perspectives on how sustainability can be approached not as a universal formula, but as a context-driven strategy rooted in local values, materials, and social realities.
